Such issues include unemployment, poverty, depression, teen pregnancy, gang violence, and death. As an alleviation to these issues, the film introduces multiple artistic opportunities as a source to allow youth growth in artistry and as an effective and creative source of representation. Furthermore, the film professes that building a personal relationship with Jesus Christ in a manner of not being conformed to the world but being transformed by the renewing of one’s mind could truly solve many of the issues black youth face in Chicago.
